It looks for the bud than the weevils, waiting for your next image to see bit close of these mating weevils. This image is fine but needs bit of extra PP work which I did mainly to get more texture on the bud, hope you don't mind. tfs.

Bonjour Anne,
A fine capture of a pairing pair of weevils on their natural habitat, an Alcea rosea flower bud. The dark weevils are perfectly exposed and taken with fine sharpness, though the bud is a little OE.
Nevertheless a nice capture! Ilook forward to the close-up of the weevils1

Sort of like a bar with a pole.....here in the US now quite famous...they have picked a very highly visible place...through instinct of course, not rationale with which they are sans..without...Very clear..I wonder at the mixed message teh perch sends..I cannot figure out if it is soft or sharp....only to feel would be to know for me.

Hi Anne. At first i only saw the one wevil but now i see the two together., You have taken this with sharp focusing and fine detail. We can even see the hairs on the rose bud. I like the plain BG and pastle colours. well done TFS.

ce bouton de ce rose trémière semble immense en comparaison de ces deux petits charançons, pourtant tu as réussie capturer avec beaucoup de netteté
belle composition
le WS est très bien fait, mais personnellement je préfère la tienne, les couleurs sont plus douces

il WS dal punto di vista strettamente tecnico è forse più corretto e comunque utile ad un confronto, ma preferisco ampiamente la delicatezza della tua interpretazione con i colori soffusi e sfumati, il fiore mi sembra un prezioso gioello con una straordinaria e bellissima lavorazione in filigrana, eccellenti POV, DOF e composizione.

A captive audience you were to these two weavels, and I must say you have captured the scene with perfection. Ugly critters with their long snouts, but the beautiful hollyhock bud far outshadows the absence of gift by nature to the Weavel's appearance.

Il est vrai que les charançons sont plus contrastés dans le WS mais personnellement je préfère cette photo aux contrastes plus doux, mais bon c'est une question de gout!

Bonsoir Anne.

Très belle photographie de ces petits charançons, en grande conversation, sur un bouton floral : la nature - animaux perpétuant leur espèce sur un bouton floral destiné lui aussi à la perpétuation de l'espèce (florale, maintenant). Une image pleine de sens.

Très belle qualité technique - rien à dire. Peut être effectivement, auriez vous pu améliorer légèrement le contraste (et un peu la netteté) ; mais pas autant que dans le laboratoire.
