Excellent use of the suns direction giving highlights and good contrast where needed. It also gives an etheral appearance which is very artistic of you....of course!

sull'ID propendo per Polyommatus semiargus, sia per la sensazione di maggiori dimensioni, anche se non ho veri elementi per valutarla e sia perchè i disegni della parte inferiore delle ali sia anteriore che posteriore mi sembrano più affini alla specie semiargus e direi che anche dal punto di vista dei colori, pur alterati dal bellissimo controluce, propendo per l'ipotesi esposta. Una bellissima macro sotto ogni aspetto.

Hi Anne. I am not sure if you have the ID yet, But all the same its a fine close up with such fine detail and bright colours. I like the side POV so we can see all of the markings. Well done TFS.

Bonjour Anne,
A fine close macro of a male C. semiargus, the shape of the wings and the arrangement of the spots on the hindwing ruling out osiris IMHO. The POV, sharpness and DOF showing both surfaces of the wings are excellent and the composition is as usual for you, just right.

Hello Anne,
What a beautiful image with the detail in the leaves and this butterfly. Patience is shown in your work with butterflies as they all are distinctly placed into the scene and very detailed. "Cast no shadows across their way and they will stay," is what I remind myself constantly.

Liebe Anne,
ich finde dass Dir das Portrait dieses Bläulings ganz besonders gut gelungen ist. Das hat mit dem raffinierten Licht und der transparenten Klappertopf- Unterlage zu tun. Die hohe Auflösung des Bildes wird der hohen Schärfe gerecht. Und dann gibt es da noch die Anel- Kompositionskunst. Toll gemacht.

ideale Pose, um einen Bläuling in seinen Erkennungsmerkmalen abzubilden, höchst präzise eingestellt - und ästhetisch sehr ansprechend präsentiert. Bravo pour cette somptueuse photographie de Mazarine Bleue. La compostion de l'image est très belle et pleine de mouvement, avec deux diagonales ascendante. Image pleine de dynamisme. Belle netteté sur tout le sujet et profondeur de champ appropriée. Très plaisant jeu des lumières et des ombres sur le feuillage, qui vient illuminer le papillon.
