A female of Polyommatus icarus , i think

I used a 36 mm Ext.tube.
ISO 200 , raw format converted to Adobe RGB 16b/channel , USM , levles and contarst,
I save it as a Tiff, but for the browser i have to save it as jpeg , converted to SRGB 8b/channel otherwise it will lose alot of contrast.

Very good macro gert. I thought that it is a man. But even I don't know for sure.I am sure that there are people here who can answere that. The composition is nice, But not optimal, Yes I am critical now, because this cann be done better. I miss here the composition of the whole head. It's a very good photo, that's for sure. But it can be done better. Good job

Excellent capture with very good light, sharpness and DOF. Clean background and no overexposed bits on the white flowers, either, which is very good. I also think this is a female. You can see them together here, the male is to the right.

Very good makro work here. I like te DOF and detail - Excellent Job

Excellent capture Gert. The colours are spot on and the well blurred background sets him off very well. Composition is perfect as well as the handling of light - no burn even in the flowers - very well done.
