Ghost Orchid
Epipogium aphyllum
I have seen this orchid first time in my life during trip in Julian Alpes in Slovenia. It grew in dark beech forest. This species grows also in my country, but I haven´t chance to see it.
I found with another "orchidslower" over 30 species of Orchid.

Hello Jan,
Very interesting presentation of this unusual species. I have never seen it before. Nice POV and DOF. I'm surprised to find out that it was done without flash - great job!
Best greetings and TFS,
Michal G.
Bonjour Jan,
Très belle macro valorisant bien le sujet par l'appréciation de la finesse des détails.
A bientôt sur TN pour de nouvelles aventures.
Gérard
Hello Jan,
a very inconspicuous orchid that you are presenting here very well lighted with perfect details achieved by f/14 under obvious low light conditions. 1 second exposure without the slightest movement of the plant must have been made possible by very lucky calm weather - or by use of flash as I can read in your answer to cedryk now. Excellent work.
You have seen over 30 species of Orchids in Slovenia, there is indeed an incredibly rich flora. I have also visited Trenta valley last year in summer at about the same time. Looking forward to seeing more from your expedition.
With thanks, and best reagrds,
Peter
