Wonderful photo in splendid clear colours. The contrasts of the butterfly and flower against the OOF BG are marvelous. Good sharpness in pleasant details. Not easy in this case, but I think this is a perfect composition.

One leptotes really beautiful, I did not have her seen earlier!... very well attracted, with a perfect fund!

Details and colors in the insect are excellent and they give a good reference of the insect's design.

Excellent composition and an inverse pose very good!

Che dire....dopo aver lavorato fino a mezzanotte e trovare poi un regalo come questo e' una cosa che immensamente piacere.Oltretutto e' un esemplare davvero bellissimo e fotografato come meglio non si potesse,la resa cromatica dei due anelli azzurro metalizzato e' eccezzionale.Perfetta anche la nitidezza e la composizione.Un regalo cosi' non si riceve tutti i giorni,grazie di cuore! A superb macro of a fresh specimen of L. pirithous! It was taken from a great POV with excellent sharpness, colours and lighting against a great neutral BG and the composition makes this an excellent portrait of this species resting with the wings closed.

Al original encuadre y composición hay que añadir la gracia de las antenas y el aparato chupador y como no a esos puntos de color que le dan una dimensión especial a la toma.

Ciao Livio,
marvellous presentation of tiny L. pirithous. Wonderful pose head under, wings extremely well shaped by light. False head mimicry of those conspicuous two eyespots and antennae-like shivering tails at the back - or on top indeed - captured in a perfect way. Have never before seen a documentation of this drab coloured species with such brilliantly well visibly eye-spots.
Feeling tempted to remove that glimpse of white blossom in the lower left corner by postwork. Great image!

this is an excellent capture of the butterfly. Very razor sharp of the wings and eyes. i like the shining blue eyes that give a special effect and impact to the composition.
