Hello My Friends,
Three days ago, I posted a bird shot taken in Soğanlı Mountains between Trabzon and Bayburt provs. I identified mistakenly it as Lullula arborea. After our friend Ivan Kruys (argus)'s message, I corrected it as "Anthus trivialis". I think that I confused shots since both of these bird species presented in same area.
Now, I upload true shot of L. arborea. I looked at TN, I dont see any shot for the species and therefore this is new species on TN.
Many thanks Ivan for correction. Sorry all of you visited before this notes.

Lullula arborea - Orman Toygarı [TR], Woodlark [EN] is one of 14 species of the family ALAUDIDAE (PASSERIFORMES) in Turkiye.
By the time, I have posted three species of this family.
…..- Eremophila alpestris - Kulaklı Toygar [TR], Shore Lark [EN],
…..- Alauda arvensis - Tarla Kuşu [TR], Skylark [EN],
…..- Galerida cristata - Tepeli Toygar [TR], Crested Lark [EN] (photo 1, 2 (Turkiye), 3, 4 (TRNC)).

L. arborea, single species of the monotypic genus Lullula (this name was derived from its sweet plaintive song) breeds across most of Europe, the Middle East Asia and the mountains of north Africa. It is mainly resident in the west of its range, but eastern populations of this passerine bird are more migratory, moving further south in winter.
It also ranges almost in all parts with forests and woodlands of Turkiye, as a resident passerine bird.
It prefers open heath with some trees, and other open woodlands, especially those with pines and light soil.
This lark is smaller sized and shorter tailed and so it can be distinguished from similar lark species.
Its head and back are brown, but ventral side is dull white and the tail is dark and with white tipped. It has a whitish eye stripe and an overall streaky appearance. A crest on the crown presents, but this may not always be visible.
Food is seeds supplemented with insects in the breeding season
.

The information given above was summarized from my field observation, Wikipedia, TRAKUŞ, and ARKIVE.

The shot was taken in Gökçesaray High Plateau in Göynük District of Bolu Province
by the camera on hand.

Hi Ahmet,

Awwwwwwwww. This Woodlark is so cute. Congratulations for being the first to show it on TN. I love that face and the top of his head. Beautiful colors and details of the face, eye, wings and lovely plumage. The pose is adorable as he proudly shows himself off. A lovely setting and composition to make this picture perfect.

Günaydin dostum Ahmet!
This is the kind of shot that I have been longing to take!
A superb capture of a Woodlark taken from a great low lateral POV with great sharpness and lighting against a fine contrasting green BG.
They fly around in small flocks near where I live but they are very shy, even though they are hard to spot on the ground.

Thanks for sharing this prize and congatulations for this first on TN!
All the best
Ivan

Salam Akhi Ahmet,
very beautiful and cute bird. You preented it so well and the image is so crisp and brilliantly composed. The sharpness is beyonf doubt and it such a treasure to have it shared here.
I could only see from the beauty and photographic point of view.
Scientifically Im ignorant on the names and etc.
So all the best to you in the final phase of Ramadhan and hope we will strive for the best.
