I really like this image, such a pity we cannot see the whole wingstructure, because the detail is striking and very prominent and clear. I also like the texture and the colours on the thorax as it displays beautifully. It has some shades of gold and silver in it. A Beautiful insect which I know makes a big noise. Thanks for sharing. Hello Alin,
Amazing creatures these big Ciccadas. You made a very sharp close-up on the insect, showing well its grey eyes and the wonderful structured wings. I just regret that you cut a little bit of the wings.
I never have seen in natura this insect, but I hope I will one day.
I suppose they dont't make noise any more in this season.

Hi alin,
your cicada shot is very outstanding. Very very sharp with full of excellent details. i like the texture of the bark that makes it so well hidden. but you make it discenred. Well composed with superbs natural colours.
