Bedankt voor je commentaar op mijn foto, maar deze mag er ook zijn. Uitstekende scherpte en details. Vanuit een wat andere dan gebruikelijk gezichtsveld genomen, leuk. Mooie heldere kleuren. Een goede compositie en prima diepte in de foto.

Hi Laurens,
a decent close-up picture, with pretty good sharpness and beautiful colours.
The DOF is good, the whole insect is in good focus from the right wings to the body.
But I prefer your WS. the BG is less busy.

Hi Laurens,

This is a superb macro capture of blue beauty (dragonfly) with superb details!
The blurry green BG enhances the beauty of the shot immensely. I like the great contrast between the colors of the dragonfly and the BG. The sharpness and POV are perfect.

Your both shot are excellent as well as the pictured species. I have not meet one in our places. Scene is very natural and nice as well as perfect DOF and sharpness of the dragonfly. Lights are great too and natural blurred BG supplements the main hero very well. Thanks for sharing and comments and best regards.

That's a good one, Laurens.
The species is not often presented on TN, the particular waxy blue color is well rendered. Why the buggers fold the wings down like on this picture I don't know, maybe to deflect the wind?
