I never seen this one before Sarolta,
very good capture without macro lens, good composition, the pov is good and I think when you had used a flash, maeby it was better, but I don't know for sure, very good job anyway,

Nice one Sarolta apart from the wing ends every thing is nicely in focus, it is a good POV allowing us to veiw all the required ident points. For a start it is male , you can tell this by the lenght of the clasper on the end of the abdomen. having used the following usful web site in Texas Texas digital Dragonflies, I think it is possibly this one Erythrodiplax berenice
Seaside Dragonlet
I think it is a site worth putting in favourites as it seems to cover a lot of the NA species.
hope this is of help

Very nice photo for me unknown species. Perfect composition, details and colors.

Hi Sarolta,
This one is a hard one to identify since it's only a side view. A top view would really help. Do you have one to post as a workshop.?
So far it appears like three similar ones. I have to believe that this one is the Slaty Skimmer, as I am judging it by the wing shapes.
Blue Corporal comes to mind as well as Rob's I.D.
Excellent shot and well done on the composition and details.

Mike
