| Maniola telmessia, “Meadow Brown”, is a common butterfly in our Mediterranean region. This is a female with a wingspan of 50 mm. interestingly, this butterfly goes into summer hibernation from June to September. This specimen must have been captured just it was waking up to welcome fall at an elevation of about 1200 m above sea level |

Hi Ishi. I fine close up of this Meadow Brown taken late this summer. Taken with fine detail and sharp focusing. All with warm colours. Your POV shows all of the wing markings. Well taken TFS.

very beautiful composition and good light the colours are attributed very well as the details,apology if I become tedious but iso 640 with D80=much noise,is necessary?

Hi Ishi,this is a beautiful work,you don't know how is difficult to take a Meadow Brown whit the wings open! You was lucky.....but a great photographer too,beautiful point of view and very high quality of sharpness and colors,thanks for share,have a nice Sunday,LUCIANO.
