[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is the last photo from the Mud Volcanoes i will post for the time being...i'm pretty sure you're bored of them by now.
However, i intended to finish my saga with this shot from the beginning, since it's taken just a few meters away from the shot i first posted from this location and it kind-of "closes the circle".
The big mud cone you see in the back is the exact same one as in the other photo, but as a bonus you have a mud "crater" in the foreground reflecting the beautiful morning blue sky.

Hope you'll like it and thanks for visiting.

Hello Horia,
Your series on the Mud Volcanoes is really something special. Again a striking and surprising shot with the small crater in front with the beautiful reflections.
Excellent point of view chosen, I like a lot your vertical framing.
Most beautiful again!
Thanks and kind regards

Hi Horia.
What a nice place and attractive shot. I have never seen similar nature phenomenon. I am amazed with clarity and transparency of the image, fine clean colours. As usual superb use wide angle of the lens. Details and sharpness are spot on too. It is a pleasure to come back here and watch your shots again.
My best wishes.
Alexei.

And now you combining two techniques. This is a combination of those seascapes you took on the visit and the Marcus style. It is synergy in photography. Synergy may not be a familiar word for you...but it goes beyond 1+1=2...it is exponential..

Hi Horia!

No, I'm not bored at all and would like to see more pictures of that kind. They are, as this one, just superb. Here, one has the feeling to be confronted with a huge crocodile's eye... Moreover, the perspective that starts at this eye is very well composed and creates a terrific effect!

Kind regards

Markus

No way am I bored with these! :)
Another outstanding shot with a killer lead-in line and excellent foreground interest.
This is a really interesting location with fantastic geography and you show this brilliantly through your photos.
Exceptional level of detail and it's crystal clear.

Very well done once again!

Joe

Hi Horia

Well I didn't know they had active volcanics in Romania, what a surprise. I like the composition though, barren yet quite interesting.

Seara buna Horia,
excelenta imagine.
O seara linistita,
Adrian

Hi Horia,
This is quiet surprising to me to see such landscape from Romania. That just to show you how little I know about geography, all I know about Romania is great gymnastics, vampires and now Horia :) Like I said, I'm learning so much from your photo and am interesting in see Romania. where before, it has never come across my mind. I just came back from a trip to Utah and Arizona where some of the landscape look very much like this, dry and earthy, not tree or vegetation.

Now about this photo. Excellent composition here using the mud hole, still bubbling with mud to draw is in, anchor our vision and our eyes wander beyond to the distant horizon with all the lines of the cracked earth texture up to the little peak of the mountain. and the tone of the clear blue sky is perfect here. It does make me feel like I want to go up to the peak and see what on the other side of the mountain. Really good details and texture of the yellowish grey earth, I can almost hear the cracking noise of the shoes walking on the earth. Thanks for show the side of Romania I would have never know about.
Way

Hi Horia,
This has been a great series. The landscape is so different from what I would expect to find in Romania. It really feels as if you secretly visited Yellow Stone.
The composition is a great one. The clean looks allows for great focus on the crater and onward to the peak. There are so many lines that point toward the peak that it gave it a lot of attention and gave the photo a lot of depth. Am I correct that I see another crater in the distance on the right side?
TFS,
Niek

Hello Horia,
Beautifully done. Technically through the overall sharpness in terms of depth of field and aesthetically through the composition; I do like the donut in the foreground. Very tasteful:-). Last but not least an excellent lighting...
Well done and TFS
