| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| Blue-Tailed Bee-eater (Merops philippinus) is one of only 2 bee-eaters found in the philippines. They are fairly common in open country, usually near water. It is a resident bird here but its range is from India to southeastern china and other southeast asian countries. The pose here is unusual as its tail is usually neatly folded behind. |
