Tofino, on the oceanside of Vancouver Island is located near the Pacific Rim National Park. This a beautifull place with lots of wildlife. Bears, whales, Seals and lots of birds.
While having a nice kayak trip, we encountered this beauty (Bald Eagle) on a small island in the harbor of Tofino. He had just cought something and was eating it. The kayak was giving me a hard time keeping the camera steady, but I managed to get a decend shot. |

Hello Frank,
Quelle image! C'est surtout le sujet qui rend cette photo très réussie et avec un bon cadrage, une bonne netteté, le résultat est super. Merci Samuel
Hello Frank
Nicely composed shot. Lovely blue back ground, but there appears to be some noise in it and some over sharpening. Nice to view. Thanks.

Hey Frank,
Yeah --- great shot man. I agree with Pam about the noise in the background. What ISO were you shooting at I find that 400 and 800 certainly does produce this type of grainy look. Also, perhaps you should try sharpening before resizing --- I've found that that helps a lot. If you send me the original to zakiwi at adenine.com I'll try and do a workshop for you. Well done though -- you've captured the moment well.

Hi Frank, very nice shot. Well done. The pose is excellent and I like the composition. Maybe a wee bit overexposed on the head but it's not too distracting. Very well done.
