[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This was actually taken with a Minolta Film Camera. I'm sorry but I don't recall what the model was. I had this camera before I really got interested in photography. It was an SLR that a friend gave me. Anyway, this is the polar bear exhibit at the Saint Louis Zoo. I think that the black and white looks better than the color version I took.

I am new at photography so it's not easy for me to see mistakes or even know what to look for. Any advice would be helpful. Thank you.

I love polar bears and I really like the BW effect of this photo. Nice action on the bears! To my eye, there is bit too much BG and the bears get a bit lost. I did a workshop to show what I was thinking. I hope you don't mind... especially since I am new at this too! Welcome to TN!

Hello Tim in St. Louis,
I know this place well, as I live across the river in Edwardsville IL. and go to the St. Louis Zoo. I like the composition, I was just wondering what program you used to convert this one to B&W. It just looks like it could use more shades of grey in it.
