[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
One of my favourite dives in Hurghada is Camel Reef. Since it’s always current there the marine life rich and the corals are beautiful.

The picture is taken on the North side of the biggest one of the three pinnacles forming Camel Reef. Depth is around 15 meters and the camera is pointing more or less straight up towards the sun and surface. I use fast shutter speed to control the sunlight and the flash is on full power (270 Watts) so that the fish and coral in the foreground will be properly lit up.

I adjusted the white balance and exposure in PS. It’s also converted from RAW to JPEG with PS.

A brilliant shot Peter.
The usage of flash is very nice. The colourful fish in the foreground makes it all the more interesting. Thanks for sharing. What were you using to waterproof the camera? Ewa Marine or some custom made waterproof jacket?

Nice shot. I really like the color of the water and the rays of light going through the water. If only you had either been closer to the purple coral or had a more powerful flash to have been able to get those purples to pop more. Still it is a very nice photo.
