Hi Christian,

Nice shot and well exposed. The light in this picture is very nice. Too bad your DOF was so shallow (only F2.8; you needed a tripod and a longer shuttertime to increase the DOF); I would have liked to see the small Boletus to be also in focus. It still is a nicely composed picture. Well done & TFS!

Regards,
Pieter

Hi Christian,
Fantastic image of the Boletus.
Looking at your image makes me hungry already.
Great composition with the smaller one in the background.
Maybe would have been good to take away the small branch infront if the mushroom.

Hi Christian,
A really excellent composition with the smaller slightly OOF mushroom near the main one. The colors are right on the money, and very sharp detail. I personally like the DOF with the smaller one OOF. Nice Work!
Scott

Hello Christian, thanks for commenting my photo. I´m new at TN and i´ve been enjoying very much.

This is a beautiful shot, smooth contrast, great composition and sharpness. And also a very helpful note.

Congratulations!

Very nice capture, Christian. I like the DOF with the large mushroom in focus and fading back to the small. Gives the large one even more importance. Composition is very good too. The detail really shows the texture.. the edge of the cap is wonderful. Very nicely done :-) TFS!

Real king of forest ;-) In Poland this is ultimate trophy :-) Beautifull scene and composition, bright colours, good POV. DOF is slightly shallow but this is minor nit in my opinion.

Hi Christian!
Very nice shot.I liked DOF,details and sharpness very much. Thanks for posting.

The mushroom season started. I walk to the forest almost everyday and find some mushroom. This one is the most wanted. We call it The True Mushroom in Poland.
The photo is very good. I like your idea to leave the second one as a part of BG.
WELL DONE & TFS

Christian, as usual, excellent sharpness. Besides, great composition and pov. I also enjoy colors; they seem quite natural.

Bonjour Christian,
Excellente photo de ces bolets. J'aime beaucoup la composition de celle-ci avec le deuxième champignon un peu flou. Excellente netteté et belles couleurs. TFS
