Valdresflya

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| On the eastside of Jotunheimen National Park, there is a small plateau called Valdresflya. The road over this plateau is only passable in the summertime. The highest point is 1.389 m. It is one of my favourite places in Norway. A fantastic scenery, rugged and poor, filled up with small waterfalls, lakes and a fabulous view on the surrounding mountains. On this picture you can see clearly the enormous amounts of erratic blocks which are so characteristic for this area. |

Beautiful picture, good DOF, excellent light! It is it me, or does the horizon seem slightly tilted?
Hi Ruud
Sorry, short on time tonight to write proper critique.
Great shot, Well done. TFS.
Hello Ruud...
Reminds me of summer! Norwegian mountains in the summer are great for the lovers of solitude... You capture the mood well here, and the cumulus of the season are just awesome! Good colours and details in this nicely composed image!

Hi Ruud!
Hmm, it's just fantastic, I know the place and certainly will post "my" Valdresflya, too!
Ruud, you certainly agree with me that it's a marvellous place, somehow magic, also because it's so different from other places in Norway. You captured it very well, with intense contrasts and a dramatic sky. Good point of view, good composition. I only regret that the whites of some parts of the clouds are burnt. The very old problem when the contrasts are strong.
Kind regards
Markus
