[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The brillant blue wasp(?) has stuck what looks like a small stinger into the cockroach's head which immediately starts dying, losing it's eggs. In some pictures, it appears the brillant blue insect also has a retractable stinger in it's back end. They are battling for life or death here, so not holding still.

Hello Gloria!
It's a little soft but moment you caught is wonderful.Blue insect is very interesting and I think it isn't wasp.Well done! Thanks for sharing...:-)

I think you did a very nice job thinking of the conditions. Anyway it is an interesting and very exiting scenario which is very often overseen. Would have been nice with some more information on the wasp.

Hi Gloria,
The classic size does not always mean everything comes to mind here.
