Hi all,
This is the Coast banksia, or White honeysuckle (Banksia integrifolia).
It is a quick-growing Australian native tree, which has dense spikes of yellow flowers in autumn and wedge-shaped, olive green leaves. The flowers later turn white and become woody. The tree is well adapted to caoastal conditions, as seen in my photo (with the Pacific Ocean in the background.)
The height/spread of the tree is 4.50 x 2.50m.
I took this shot at Byron Bay.

Hi Claudia,
I really like the composition and framing on this shot. Parts of the plant are slightly over exposed due to the strong light. That is a view to die for. I mostly see corn fields around here.
