Bamboo Grove
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Bamboo is just so common in the rainforest of Sabah. It usually is found on the hillsides, valley floor and by the riverbank. It thrives on water and is a good indicator that the land it is on, is wet and watery.
Bamboo grove is also a favorite "incubator" for cobra. So go easy cutting across a bamboo grove. Look for a rather big "mound" of dry bamboo leaves. If you saw one, chances are it could be incubating a cache of eggs. With its mother laying wait nearby.
Be careful when setting camp near plantation which invites snakes. When you see rats, you know you are in snake country. |

The capture shows the stems nicely. The composition is not as good. But it's an interesting scene and together with your note it's fine post. Thanx for sharing.
Hi Ranani , you get no sense of scale untill you see the person exiting the frame . gives a very good feel for a dark dank jungle . like the note about the cobra's thank you.
