Like says Ricardo, which is great with digital photos is that some postprocess are always possible. Here for the sharpness it was good to do it because you really well captured this damselfly on suspension here. You did a good job on DOF.Thanks for sharing
A nice capture.
Excellent composition and DoF.
Ricardo has done a great job in the workshop too.
A good shot,very well done.
Nice damselfly Livio.
You can always update your note in the 'Manage' tool. TFS.
Livio, A Damselfly, this looks like a Double-Striped Bluet (Argia barretti), Family Coenagrionidae of the narrow-winged variety. Nice speciman..Thanx for posting.
Welcome to TN Livio, It looks so simular the the european Blue tailed Damselfly, but Rcardo seems to have it right for ident.
Not a bad capture , it is well seen and the composition / crop looks good too. The tail end seems to be dropping out of the Depth of Field /Focus (DOF)., I think you had the speed available to slow down and use a slightly higher F number say F4.5 which would still of kept the very nice blurred BG but got the tail end in sharp.
As has been said you can update your notes by clicking on your user name top right corner then click on the manage tab , then at the side of the image you wish to alter click on the edit tab and make you alterations and click update, you can do this as often as you feel the need to.
Livio, the same species that I enjoy to portray here in Buenos Aires.
This is a damselfly... you can see it HERE to read some data more on the same one.
Very good composition, with excellent colorful and perspective.
The DOF is adapted to emphasize the figure of the insect in all their splendor.
Remember mainly that to all the digital photos some postprocess is advisable, considering the sharpness of the image.
He would be advisable you included the values of speed and aperture in your images.
Good job with your new Pro1... I see with happiness that really you are learning to use it to Full.
I include a Workshop... I hope pleases to you.
(points tomorrow)

dof is good to.
good shot!
Very nice picture. Simplicity makes this one good. The background in unclutterd and the little grass perch is very nice, the damselfly is very nicely seen. Well done Livio.

Estou por aqui, também... mas faz tempo que não posto nada..hehe... tem algumas da A300!!!
Abraço!
Carmem
Well, I'm not an expert to criticize the picture itself, but I can say I liked the blurred bottom. It enriches the beauty of the animal.
I love arthropods. They look like living machines, use fewer neurons than us to make the same tasks, and rule the planet. Hurray to Biology!
(By the way, I stole your photo, I needed a new wallpaper)

Hi Livio, I remember seeing some of these Damselflies when I started at TN, and I thought they were so interesting. And here you are, back in October, with one as well.
The colours are superb, and the Damselfly is nicely captured.
Well done.
