[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I proundly present you my first flying dragonfly.
It is made at a small lake with water-lilis.
There were about 5 or 6 dragonflies around, but not any of them was sitting. If you look nearer, you can see why. There are so many mosquitos all around, a nice meal for the dragonflies. So they were very hectic and I were in trouble to see them, so it's a great miracle that I have one on a photo!
They also had to be careful - perhaps you see the fish? Who was the winner? - I don't know!

D'fly is perfectly caught, whole photo has lovely colours and very good quality. However I have feeling that the composition could've been better.
Anyway, I like it very much.

These are very difficult to catch inflight. I've only done it once myself with fair results. Very good detail, color and DOF on your dragon. Very nice as it shows the environment it habitats as well. Well done!

Sabine, since you didn't use flash, I thought that 1/500 would not be enough to freeze the action, but it was!

Hallo Sabine, ziemlich schwieriger Schuß. Ist übrigens die gefleckte Heidelibelle. Und der Fische (ich nehme an, daß es ein Karpfen ist) befindet sich links unten. ;-)

Wow, Sabine! This is still on my wishlist - dragon in flight. But probably not with my present cam. You did extremally good picture. Sharp, well focused, sunny. Fish looks like nuclear submarine here ;-)
