In Orosi, Costa Rica, we saw immense bushes of Angel's Trumpets, (Datura or Brugmansia- Solanaceae) growing. This particular plant was the size of a tree, I guessed it must have been at least 3.5m tall. I was standing directly underneath to take his shot. The leaves grow to 30cm in length and the trumpet shaped flowers, pink, salmon, cream, pure white, single ot double, are 25cm long. This tree must have had 200 or more flowers all at once. A magnificent sight.

Hi Marialuisa,
I love there plants. They draw amazing amounts of insects and humming birds. Beautiful colors in this shot. I am currently on my laptop somewhere in North Florida on that road trip!
