I like what you have done here. It's probably too artistic for most people. This picture reminds me of my recent work. I like the contrasting color-composition. Unusual but quite good. According to composition there's a clear emphasis on the diagonal (typically Japanese), in this case running in a curve from bottom left to top right by means of the "red" of the leaves.
I think this pic will be better understood by the Japanese People, who are strongly attracted by the natural beauty of nature and it's seasonal decay.
My only critique would be to clone-out the dark spot (top left) that should not be there in this composition, also to trim-off a little bit from the bottom.
