[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a female Figbird Sphecotheres viridis. Figbirds are arboreal and pick all their fruit from branchlets in the crowns of trees and shrubs. They live in humid coastal districts of northern and eastern Australia from near Derby, Western Australia to the Illawarra district, New South Wales. They also live in New Guinea, Timor, Wetar and Kay Islands. This figbird was picking berries off a tree on the coastline at Jacob's Well.

Hi Claudia, thatīs a beautiful natural shot - very clear and colourful. Very nice composition and great details. Thanks for posting.

Lovely clear shot. I love the detail of her eye as it is hard to see even with binoculars at times. Great angle. It's hard to believe the males and females are the same bird they look so different
