Hello Joao,

Your picture with the lonely rock in the middle of the sea has a lot of potential. However, I think it has an overall pinkish dominant and it's not straight: the sea is "flowing" to the right. I'll post a Workshop for you.

I agree about the potential of this picture, and its short-coming, namely the slanted sea.
Also made a WS, emphasizing the foreground instead of Petru's priveleging the sky... Hope you don't mind

Hi Joao,
I'm afraid I am out of smileys for today, sorry about that. What I like about this picture is the beautiful colour and excellent detail, especially obvious in the water ripples. The composition could be improved, and I very much like Philippe's workshop version that accentuates the FG. It uses the rock as a visual anker to invite the eye to roam te rest of the picture. The rock as such I find not so interesting in form, texture or colour, but it nicely contrasts with the water ripples and clouds and really brings them out.

Hi Joao,
It's a nice picure with lovely colours.
Pity about the horizon. I also agree this has a potential.
The WS from Philippe and Petru shows what can be done.

A textura do mar está excelente. Realmente um pouco inclinada, por isso o workshop do Philippe está ótimo, pois não perdeu a parte do mar!

What first attracts my attention is the colour of the sky! Those pinkish cloud veils are quite awesome... Good details both in the rock and the water... Of course I agree... the tilt should be corrected, and a note would hurt no one :-)... Otherwise very well done!

it ´s a nice scenic photo with a good DOF and the texture of the water looks great...you should level the horizon and in my opinion a horizontal frame with the rock outcentered works better!
