Yacare or (Caiman yacare), about 80 teeth (look at the size and type yourself), about 3 meters long (thats over nine feet for you, man!) and around 200 000 in the wild, all in the middle of South America, you do the math and then cross the river! So long piranha, you little punks!
Sleep well, gaucho...

In the jungle, the mighty jungle
The lion sleeps tonight

Eeeee, sorry this isn't lion ;-) Very tired or very fed up ;-) ? I like big reptiles, this one also looks great - somehow ancient maybe. You know - its specie remember dinosaurs. Great post!

You have quite odd conception of beauty...
For me it looks like huge toad with aligators head. Anyway, it's very interesting photo with good quality.
I like the POV a lot, but I'm not sure about framing...
:)

Nice (and bold) shot!
lucky you it was sleeping!

Salut, Petru

Radu,

Nice picture. Good POV. The caiman is still nicely seen allthough it is similar color as the background.
Thanks for posting
Kim

Hi Radu,
It's a very nice picture of a sleeping beauty but the can wake up very fast.
Well composed, nice colours and good POV.

I don't know about you, Radu, but I would not trust that HUGE sucker one little bit. If I did not know that you are back safe and sound, I would say that he seems very pleased to have had a daring young photographer for supper! The expression is just priceless. Great capture and TFS. : )

This is a excellent capture, I really enjoy the POV and the nice lighting that allows the viewer to marvel at the intricate details on this dinosaur looking creature. Well done Radu. :)

Caught my attention with that toothy grin, nice work.

Greg

Is it my imagination, or is he smiling slyly at his next dinner item, Radu?

Wonderful capture, nice POV, details, and composition.

Thank you.
