Bite to the ear huh :) Never would've imagined that lions were so "lovey-dovey". From your notes I'd guess that the background has been pushed quite a bit. Wonder what it would look like if it remained that way - wouldn't that isolate the couple better thereby making the scene more intimate? Just thinking aloud here. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Nico,
great shot, I like shots that show animals in some sort of action, well captured with excellent compo, good detail and colour. A shallower DOF would have isolated the pair from the BG and would have added to the story, but it gets well across in any case. "Something to drink, dear?"
