| I know that this is really soft on the focus part, but I kind of like the way it looks. To tell the truth I don't know why it turned out like this. |

Colin it is hard for us to be able to help as to why the image is soft. Because we have no details of the camera and its settings and about where and under what conditions you found this Chicory flower.
this sort of imformation is a TN requirement so that some here may be able to help with your situation.

It is a shame the image is soft. The colour of the flower is so nice, but with sharpening it would be enhanced.
