a wild rabbit in Baxter State Park, Maine, USA.
Don't know the species. Anyone can suggest an ID ?
Last minute edition : it is a snowshoe hare, Lepus americanus. Hence, il will (has) turn(ed) white in the winter. |

This is quite the change in pace for the avid entomologist Philippe, but it is a pleasant treat for us...;-)
The focus is superb. I really like the surroundings around this hare. And, look at the fur on this guy's feet!

It seems he was very close. It's quite strange subject as for you, but it's still a very good capture.
I like the framing, details are very good too though the photo seems to be a bit busy because of the surroundings.
Anyway, I like it.
