[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This seems a simple shot, but during a walk through a local park this and a few other trees looked like it could be of interest in some body of work.
This is an important tree in both Australia and New Zealand as it is used extensively in contruction. It is known as a soft wood and has a long fibre length compared to gum trees which are hard wood and have a short fibre.

I like looking at Tree trunks too Murray. I was walking through a bush yesterday and took many trunk shots that I hope to post one day soon. Yes, this is a very well known tree here.
