[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Howard Cheek (marhowie - www.treknature.com/members/marhowie/) sent me a picture of a bird that is very similar to this - the mockingbird. If this is not a mockingbird, please, let me know.

Although I don't see it frequently (so far, I've already seen it thrice), whenever I see this bird it allows me to take several shots.

Hi Livio!
This one is not identical to our Nothern Mockingbird Mimus polyglottos. But, he is very similar...;-) So, perhaps they are at least cousins cut from the same gene mold...
It will be interesting to watch and wait for someone to positively ID this one...
Your picture is excellent and nice!
Very clear against that blue sky!
Thanks,
Dave

livio do bonjour
detalhes dos bons de de tres et couleurs de de belles, bravo. laurent

Hi Livio,
it's a beautiful bird.
Well composed, nice POV and colours. The details is very good.
Pity about the big branch, but thats nature.
Very well done, my friend.

Very good sharpness and use of flash with great exposure and detail. Well composed... This bird is indentical to our Texas mockingbird physically. The feathers have a ruddy reddish tinge though..I wonder if it has something to do with all that red soil in your area? Very well done.
Thank You!

The Mockingbird is well known from the book "To Kill a Mocking Bird", but I have never seen one before Livio. Did you hear him sing? Good POV from below, and he's nice and sharp. Well done
Janice

Nice capture ,very crisp detail of the bird on a nice blue background are always a winner. :)

Hi Livio,
I'm so happy to see so many animals here I've never seen before, for example again this one.
So pretty and I love your low POV. Thanks
Sabine - wishnugaruda

He looks like a cheery and friendly type, with that wonderful eager pose.

Be sure that if the sun does not shine here soon, so that I can get bright shots like these, I will be arriving in Brazil shortly! ;-D

I did a ws for something to do, the usual.

Thank you for this lovely composition, Livio!

Hi Livio,
