An excellent macro. I really like how the head area is very sharp, and the falloff in the DOF is still showing enough detail. Good composition and framing on this shot. Great color saturation.

Good focus and very effective shallow DOF.
Nice sharp detail of the head and great colours.
I'm not cerain of the ID but it looks like a species of Mining Bee.

Very nice portrait. We don't see much of this male solitary bee, but I'd say it has a good chance of being Andrena vaga - you'll find plenty of pictures on the web.

Es gefallt mir sehr gut, Jaap. The fellow is just short of colliding with your lens. The hairy details are so sharp it looks like a nasty little Pekinese charging at you.

It's an interesting POV Jaap, with great detail within your DOF. Very good color and light. More DOF would make it better.

Exposure is good. Good POV and framing.
I prefer this image to the workshop, but still would have prefered to see a greater DOF.

Hoi Jaap,
Een duitse tekst man, maar om alles te begrijpen moet ik twee a driemaal lezen, maar de foto is zonder taal gebruikt, tenzij de taal der goed ziende hier gehanteerd wordt. Ik meen dat dit niet dikwijls gebeurt dat u alleen de kop scherp steld en de rest gewoon blur, het is zeker niet mis om naar te kijken, ik kijk goed uit voor de toekomst, want in mijn gedachte spelen er altijd macro foto's.
