Hi Niek,
This is a nice image. A path leading the viewer into the frame is always effective. I tried cropping out about half of the sky. Moving the horizon line up like that seemed to have a strong impact. I immediately felt as if I were right there on that trail. It seemed to give more intimacy to the image. Of course it is solely a matter of personal taste. I just love playing with images to see what impact different options will have. Thanks for sharing yet another view of your country.

Hi Niek,
I always love landscapes. This looks like an excellent place to take a walk with nature. You exposure looks great with the nice subtle colors and great depth.

Hi Niek, interesting composition with good natural colour. I like the way you have the path leading you through the photo. TFS.

Good POV in that landscape, good composition, good exposition. Maybe it would have been a stronger one with a bit less of the sky. Well done Niek.

Very interesting shot. I do like the low and warm glow that the sun casts on everything, but I think the lighting might've been even better if the sun would've been even lower, which would've made even more shadows. What I love about this picture is the POV -- if I would've taken this shot, I would've placed the path right in the middle of the shot. You have the path on the right of the shot... so far to the right in fact that much of it goes off the picture. But the way the bushes on the left meet the path right in the center of the picture, it gives it beautiful symetery! I also like the way the path curves off to the left, adding some mystery and dimension to the shot. You cropped this image perfectly.

Hi Niek
The 'Unknown Destiny' could have been a good title too. Interesting shot with nice colours & shades. That road leads your eye into the frame and then mysteriously disappear around the corner leaving the onlooker ample space to let your mind and creative energies visualise your own little story of what is waiting around the bend.
Very well done and TFS.
