This is a very striking shot! The angle of the subject thru the frame is excellent composition. Nice soft light has rendered some beautiful colors. Detail is sharp, and the green OOF backround is a great contrast for this subject.

Still payback time...
This is an excellent macro of the damselfly. The diagonal across the frame makes for an interesting composition. The colours are great, the DOF is perfect, the BG is stunning, and the exposure is perfect.

Hi Andy,
I'm learning a lot looking through your gallery and reading your notes. I was drawn to this by the colours and the diagonal composition. The light and colours are perfect, DOF is good. The Damselfly looks almost metallic! A really nice shot.
