[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
It is time for date palm blossoms in the Middle East. The seven palms in my compound are blossoming one by one. They are pretty tall trees and in most cases, you have to look up at them, or climb up for a closer look!
Providentially, I have a couple of young ones my height and one of them blossomed for the first time in the last three days.
I shot this partial view of one of them this morning. It is a pale, delicate looking bunch nearly a foot tall.
Tech data: Cropped, saturated, clarified, sharpened and framed.

Very interesting shot! The exposure looks good, and detail is sharp. I have never observed these in person, no date palms in Illinois. I would love to see the whole blossom to get an idea what the overall appearence is. Nice shot.

I love seeing these unusual images of subjects that are familiar to your part of the world and unfamiliar in mine. Thanks for sharing. It a a nice sharp image. With such sharp contrast in tones it would be almost impossible to not get a little burnout. You chose a nice composition of vertical lines. I really like it. TFS
