Hello Madhu,

Welcome to TrekNature. I am always happy to meet someone interested in landscape photography. I have only been active in TN since January so I am new here too. I suggest that you take some time to view a lot of the images posted here and read the critiques. There is lots to learn. TN has a way of teaching self criticism and striving for excellence in photography as well as teaching so much about the world of nature. You will be surprised how quickly you learn and how supportive this group can be. Be sure to write lots of critiques yourself so that people get to know your name and start looking for your photos.

You will find that my personal critiques are generally concerned with composition and other graphic elements because that is what I know best. This image, though pleasant does not have much visual impact. All that sky doesn't add any interest to the composition so I would crop it out, and conscentrate on the trees, hills and reflections. This is a very small image so doing a lot of cropping is impossible. You can post images up to 800x 800 mp and 200kb.

I'm looking forward to seeing your progress here on TrekNature and to learning more about India.

wow! brings back memory from my college days when we spent 3 days here in Thattekadu doing hiking across a big hill! Awaiting more pics from you!
