[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is my second post of a cockroach.
Mainly because this is one of my sharpest macros.
Many of us revolt at the look of them.
Still, they too are the denizens of this earth.
As scavengers, they perform the roles assigned to them to the best of their abilities.

Hi Ram
Amazing capture when one comes to think of the protection devices this little creature has. I've watched a program on roaches that showed how this insect reacts when something or someone approach them. They have movement/vibration sensors in their feet. The moment this sensor register any vibration it (not the brain, but the sensors) tells the legs to run. The cockroach will then run a distance before it actually realises that it is busy running. That's when it will stop and look around to see what made them run.
Your photo shows nice details and very natural colours.
