[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Lasiocampa quercus - family Lasiocampidae.

Lasiocampidae are my favourite moth family. On the picture is the male of Oak eggar. The female looks quite different but in my opinion males are more attractive ;-D

It is a beautiful moth indeed, Christoper. I can see why you like it. The colors are beautiful, and the texture feels like velvet. This image has very sharp details and the exposure is perfect. TFS. : )

Hi Christopher

You have done a great job here. Good POV, very well composed. Depth of colour is spot on. Clarirty and sharpness are both great. :-)

Excellent capture of that large and furry species, Christopher.
Perfect pose, excellent details and colours,
Moth very well set off from the BG.
One or two geometrical lines in the blurred BG - probably from some kind of human architecture - might easlily be touched up by a little postwork.
Thank you! Best regards,
Peter

Czesc Krzysiek!
Gratulacje!

Naprawde przepiekne ujęcie - rogata futrzasta slicznotka :) Jak Ty je wszystkie znajdujesz?! :) TFS
