A bundle of nerves!

Golden-crowned Kinglet (female)
Regulus satrapa

* Info on Golden-crowned Kinglet *

I was very lucky to get this shoot. "Continuously active bird" as they said on the link above.
Moreover, they are in full period of migration currently. I saw near 10 of them. A new spieces for me. They are going up to North for nidification.

And no, there is not only red foxes in my corner of the world!

Musing for ManYee:

If I had to choose between a father God or a mother God, I would choose a mother God. There is not greater love than that of a mother for her children. She can give her life to save them. When a man imitate this behavior, we make a religion of it or we call him a soldier. But a mother do it instinctively, naturally. It is why I prefer Nature to constructions of men, physics or mental. Thank you for looking. Have a good weekend!

Bonjour Luc,

Félicitations pour cette superbe photo! Je sais combien il est difficile de photographier le roitelet à couronne dorée: il n'arrête pas de bouger ;-)

J'espère un jour avoir une aussi belle photo de cet oiseau!

hi luc,
excellent shot! :-)
we have a similar bird here in europe/germany
as gert mentioned and it´s so small and cute.
i guess they are not easy to capture since
they are constantly moving around, at least
those few that i saw the last 25 years.
good compostion & pov, the nice golden
stripe is clearly visible.
well done & take care,
thor.

Hi Luc,
I love your cute Goldcrest - the headline is perfect for this bird.
It never can sit still for only a few seconds.
I had one in my garden this winter and I got nervous while watching this bird.
Thanks for this wonderful shot, bye

Luc, bonsoir! Look at all those Spring buds ready to open soon... And your dear little Golden-crowned Kinglet is thriving in the warmth and sunshine. The notes were interesting to read - and it is a tiny bird. Good composition and colours, and nice and sharp too. Bravo!
Janice

Bonjour Luc.
I KNOW that Nature is a Mother. Everything in nature is governed by infinite love and wisdom, a love and wisdom that we mere mortals can only apprehend in small fragments, and therefore sometimes do not even recognize as such. Everything in nature manifests itself in cycles, circles being the perfect form... the form that nurtures and rejuvenates and perpetuates.
That beautiful bird that you captured with utmost skill is part of that cycle. Thank you for sharing your pictures and musings with us. : )

Vraiment beau ton petit Roitelet, beau piqué, couleurs bien saturées. Excellente photo Luc. J'en ai pris un que j'ai publié ici il y a quelques semaines et c'est vrai qu'il ne tient pas en place. Bravo. Merci.
