Interesting shot the thumbnail of it in the gallery really caught my eye.You have some nice detail and sharpness. You have done well witht Dof. I only just started with a macro and all I can say is focus on the specific thing you want in the picture. Then place it in the frame of your shot where you think it looks best. Then click away if you have a digital camera and use a tripod.

Musze ci calkiem szczerze powiedziec, ze to jedno z lepszych makr kwiatu jakie widzialem. Czerwone tlo i wylaniajace sie z niego biale preciki wygladaja fantastycznie! Bardzo artystyczne zdjecie.

Very beautiful and artistic work.
The short DOF gave you a wonderful effect this time, and the colour is very vivid.
About making better macros, I think you should start learning about Depth Of Field (DOF) rules, you can have alook at the note in THIS post where I explain something about it.
