I have taken quite a few shots of this kind of insect, not knowing anything about it [not even what it's called. I called it Milan bug because of the red and black stripes which look like the Milan's football team colours. Can anyone help with some information?
Thanks. |

Nice shot! The focus is very sharp, which I really like. The lighting in the picture is too bright, and seems to wash out some detail in the bug. Maybe try enhancing the colors a bit and darkening it up some.

Good picture. I like the composition with all those pods surrounding the bug. It is a True Bug, family hemiptera, and its name is Graphosoma italicum. Those Milan colors actually warn off potential predators that the insect has a foul taste...
Well done
slt mark,
j'aime bcp la transparence des verts tendres, contrastant avec le rouge et noir. très beau.
Bonjour,
Quels équilibristes ces insectes !
Il est tout à son affaire et étant donné les couleurs il ne doit pas être comestible !
