This was taken in a field of dandylions. I wanted to try to use my f1.8 50mm lens to try to isolate a flower from a field. Unfortunately, I also picked up another flower in the bottom left. I was going to blur in out in Photoshop, but then I started to like it hiding there.
The midday sun forced me to push the camera to ISO 100 and a shutter speed of 1/4000, because I wanted to used f1.8. I don't think it affected the photo too much. What do you think? |

I think it turned out very nice Mike. I think we have a spring flower theme going on here, with all these bursts of color in green. I kind of like the hiding in focus flower too. The blurred background gives a dreamy feel to the photo.
I think it’s brilliant! Its funny, at first I didn't like the flower in the left corner being 'un-blurred' but it quickly grew on me. Great job, almost like a water colour painting, thanks a bundle for sharing!
