Large-tailed Night-jar
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This is my first encounter of this bird.Large-tailed Night-jar is the name.Local Malaysian called it Burung Kubur, meaning Bird of graveyard as it was usually seen in the cemetary ground.
It's size from beak to tail is approximately 18-24 inces in length while it's wing span is up to 3feet.Usually built it's nest on a dry grassy land.
I know this picture is not sharp enough but I'm too attracted to it's style in flying and I'm still in learning stage to capture birds in flying motion.
It's eyes originally black in color but this one is caused by my flash and sorry for that.
Hope this is not too bad to share. |
