Lichens are symbiotic organisms made up by the association of microscopic green algae or cyanobacteria and filamentous fungi.
I can count here up to 6 diffrent lichens on this basalt rock from the Rila mountain: four of them are: crustose, foliose, map lichen, thalus. |
