I don't know exactly what it is. I found this spider when I was walking over hills to get to the hidden beach in Khor Fakkan, east coast of the UAE. Its body size was about 2.5cm, pretty big. I think it is one of the Argiope group spider. Is there anyone who can ID this?

Here's some info about Argiopes;
The genus Argiope is distributed throughout the world. You can find them in most countries in temperate or warmer climate zone. They are one of those spiders called Orb Weaver or Signature Spider.

Hello,
It's no doubt Argiope. I'm not entirely sure, but your spider reminds me Argiope lobata.
The pose of this spider is a little weird as for Argiopes. They ususally hang on the middle of their web head down, this one looks as of he didn't have a decent web ;). I like the POV here. Picture is a little burned out in some places, but apart form that it's a good shot!
WELL DONE!

Hi Yukiko,
Interesting POV and pose of this spider..
Nice detail. I would reduce the highlights or overall lightness a bit.
Well down and Thank You!

Hi Yukiko,
Very nice macro of this spider.
Sharpness is good, bright natural colours. Well done.
Regards, Ruud

Hi Yukiko,
A nice looking composition on this Argiope spider. The sunlight was pretty harsh, buy you managed to still get a good shot. Nice sharp detail.
