Good details, POV, and fresh colours. You succeeded to portrait this duck in a characteristic pose. Like the reflection in the water.
We come across them frequently in some parts of the Netherlands too, very nice birds.

Great shot Maurizio! Sharp shot with nice pov. I like the mirroring effect in this photo. I espcially like the effect of the duck's bill going into the water crossing the line between the "realness" of the bird above the reflection and the "illusionariness" of the reflected bird. You also managed to get great DOF so that the whole Shelduck is in focus. Very nice capture and TFS. PS- do you find autofocus to be much slower when using the 2x extender?

These ducks are quite attractive. The reflections are good, but the sharpness and colours of the bird are even better. Good catch of it drinking water too, TFS Maurizio, it is well done.

An interesting and unusual POV of this shelduck, Maurizio.
