Quite rare to see 3 Little Egrets close by here in Malta.
They arrive on Migration during this period of the year. This reserve (Ghadira Nature Reserve)is very important for migratory birds as it provides them with rest and protection from hunters.
Other interesting birds recorded this day:
6 Little Egrets
around 70 little stints
around 20 Curlew Sandpiper
and a super rare Broad Billed Sanpiper.:D |

A beautiful image, Matthew! You have composed the shot excellently and I love the birds' reflections on water.

Hello Matthew,
A warm welcome to TN.
A great capture you have there, of the three egrets in a row.
I love egrets, and you are showing them in fine details and in a wonderful and fun composition. Thank you for sharing. : )
