This beetle from the family Meloidae is a common beetle in the Middle East. It can be found on flowers during the spring. In Israel it can be found in May in all the Meditteranean region.
Length: 30 m"m.
Like other species in its family, it secretes a poisonous substance. In some species it serves as a medicine (when it use in very small doses). |
