Yes not a very Unique bird but i love these guys a great source of amusement.. and they are getting quiet game around me now...lol

Im sure this is a Chipping Sparrow.. tho lacking the white streak for an eyebrow is throwing me...
so could be a female.. or out of breeding plumage or a youngster...lol Gawd knows..

Sexes appear similar; female averages duller, often with crown flecked with dark brown.

Instead of having simple molts like most birds and changing its body feathers once or twice a year, the Chipping Sparrow may change the feathers of its face and throat up to six times in one year. The rest of the body feathers are only replaced once or twice in the same period.

The Chipping Sparrow's habit of lining its nest with hair has earned it the name "Hairbird." Formerly, it utilized horsehair, but with the decline in the use of horses it takes any hair available and will even pluck strands from the coat of a sleeping dog. Originally inhabitants of natural clearings and brushy forest borders, these sparrows are now found in gardens and suburban areas and have become familiar songbirds. During most of the year they feed on the ground, but in the breeding season males always sing from an elevated perch. Their food consists mainly of seeds, but in summer the adults and the young feed on insects.

It might not be unique for you, but you have just added another sparrow to the long list of sparrows I have never seen or heard of before...

I like the line throught photo caused by the fence, and the DOF os spot on.

Very cute... It is a great capture of this little bird. I just love the composition and everything else about it.
The colours are very natural, the details are very sharp, the BG is complimentary and it enhances the sparrow very well, and the exposure was spot-on.
